Moving for Better Balance

Moving For Better Balance is a 12-week evidence-based group exercise program developed by researchers at the Oregon Research Institute. The program, based on the principles of Tai Chi, is led by a qualified Instructor and teaches eight movements modified especially for falls prevention.

Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring

The Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program helps adults with hypertension lower and manage their blood pressure. The program focuses on regulated home self-monitoring of one’s blood pressure using proper measuring techniques, individualized support and nutrition education for better blood pressure management.

Parkinson's Management

​The goal of Delay The Disease is to empower people with Parkinson’s disease by optimizing physical functions and helping to delay the progression of symptoms. Classes meet once or twice per week for 60 minutes, and incorporate cardio, strength training, balance exercises, posture, and flexibility.

Pedaling For Parkinson's aims to reduce symptoms in people with Parkinson’s disease b following a prescribed cycling protocol. Classes meet three times per week for 60 minutes, and involve cycling on a stationary bike at 80-90 RPMs.
