Launching the Funding for Youth In Government

The State of Michigan has announced a historic  1.4 billion investment in childcare. The first phase will be used as stabilization funds for existing centers and home providers and should be available very soon.  Stay tuned for upcoming grant opportunities. 

The 8 year partnership between the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services and the State Alliance to deliver Healthy Out of School Time (HOST)  to Michigan children is heading into a new school year.  This year our partnership will look a little different, stay tuned for details and opportunities.   

YMCAs throughout Michigan have welcomed state lawmakers to summer programs to highlight the great work Ys are doing to prepare kids for a successful return to school.  Summer learning is happening in over 70 program sites while kids connect with each other, nature, and adventure.
