Michigan YMCAs to Help More than 5,000 Kids Michigan Department of Education Grant Supports Learning Enhancement Twenty-four YMCAs and 66 locations have been selected to receive funding through the Michigan Department of Education. This funding will allow YMCAs to enhance Day Camp, Overnight, and other programs with Reading, Math, Science and Social Emotional Learning.

The State Alliance is delighted to announce they have been awarded $2.3 million from the Michigan Department of Education to provide summer learning opportunities for children in summer programs.
